If you are not yet ready to found your own health-tech startup, want to intern, get some more experience in health-tech or apply your awesome skills to a growing company in the health-tech space the HS.Jobs Board lists current available positions and hires. Occasionally there is also the opportunity to come and work for HS.
The HS. Talent Acquisition Lead offers an enormous opportunity for immediate impact on our business, a large amount of responsibility, and a steep and continued learning curve. This isn’t a conventional talent acquisition role - you’ll be recruiting founders of some of the world’s most important health-tech companies.
We are looking for an experienced leader in talent acquisition, with a demonstrable track record of building and managing high-performance recruiting teams and creative implementation of talent strategy. The Talent Acquisition Lead will be solely responsible for leading the team who ensure the best talent from across the globe is found, attracted and applies to HS. We'll train you on the HS. way of doing things and specialised knowledge, but very soon you will be the expert locally.
What you’ll do:
The HS. Talent Team is responsible for finding and selecting the world’s best talent and health-tech founders. We are looking for someone to help us attract the top computer science and engineering researchers, both from academia and industry. You will help the next generation of health-tech founders realise why they should start a health-tech company.
You’ll get to work side by side with the HS. team, our Venture Partners, our Science Partners and be able to make a huge impact in tech, business and health.
Some of our best companies have been built by PhD students and postgraduate researchers turning their work into commercial ventures or utilising their unique skill set on novel hard problems. It takes a deep understanding of the academic sphere to engage researchers in the idea that starting a company is an attractive career path to maximise the impact of their research. In this role you’ll be spending a lot of time talking to the world’s best computer science and engineering PhD students about their ideas and research.
Sometimes though, the work won’t be glamorous - there will be times when we all have to mop up beer stains after an event. What we can guarantee however, is that no two days will be the same and every small task is a crucial puzzle piece in HS.’s growth and success. You’ll help to build out critical parts of the business; we have big plans and we need high-performance ambitious individuals to help us get there.
